These buildings with clean architectural lines and steel, aluminium, glass and stone have been combined to enhance the light and to blend harmoniously with their exterior surroundings.

You can also take the famous cable car from Malcesine all the way up to the top of monte baldo and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery Veneto has to offer. If your a bike enthusiast you can also take your mountain bike up with you and then enjoy the many bike paths all the way back down to the lake.

In winter the cable car carries skiers up to the slopes of Monte Baldo where there are good ski lifts serving over 11 km of ski slopes of various difficulty.

On the East bank of Lake Garda, Malcesine has kept it's original features of its medieval origins intact. It is one of the most elegant and well equipped resorts on the lake where sailing and windsurfing are the most popular sports. There are also many hotels to choose from including basic clean 1 star hotels to luxurious 5 star hotels.

The beaches in Malcesine are all pebbled so you need jelly shoes or similar to swim in the lake, but it is well worth it to be swimming in this brilliant crystal clear water with the mountains surrounding you.
